All good, salient points. I sometimes feel as if I'm *missing* something when not reading Manning's bits - but "45" was brilliant, at least partly, because Bill wrote it on his own. On a different topic, at the moment I'm reading "I Stole Freddy Mercury's Birthday Cake" by the late, great Malcolm Hardee (comedy impressario, invenerate burgler, Edinburgh Festival Cult of many years standing) which I heartily recommend. Those of us on the list who like Andy Kaufman (and I know there's a few) will find much to admire. John

yeah, it's kinda similar to the way Bad Wisdom was done you can easily see where one stops and the other starts - at least, you can the bits i've read so far
