I've 23 copies if anyones interested.... Payment is £50 (burnt notes only)..... Wizard Keep Listening forever
I would like to offer another possibility - seeing that Pure Trance 5 has been finished (in one way or another), I wonder why they would leave out 3 and 4 but return to the mixing desk for 008R again. So, could it just be that both Love Trance and Turn Up The Strobe were remodelled and remixed into some other track on the White Room album (either soundtrack or proper release)? ..::// Thomas
This is precisely what I've been lead to believe happened. 006T and 007T were both recorded and were considered unsuitable for release. 007T was remodelled into part of Chill Out (can't remember track/timings but it's near the end; 006T allegedly went into Space. Hopefully someday either of them will confirm this just to stop the endless speculation... That's a cool theory, there is a 'track' on Space which has quite a fast beat and kinda 303 sounds that is in a v similar style to the Pure Trance stuff, I think it was the track that was included on one of the unofficial compilation CDs...will check later but i'm sure at least one of you will know the track I mean. Any theories on what part of Chill Out may have derived from a lost single? tbc. i've always throught that Wichita Lineman Was A Song I Once Heard would make a cool single, althought obviously it'd need a shorter name :) but it kinda stands out from the other tracks in a way.
Not sure if this has been discussed much before, or whether it has ever been established whether any of these were ever recorded with audio clips available. If so, sorry if the following post is stupid. I thought witchita lineman was the building blocks of Go To Sleep/LTTT. Pure Trance 5. Mars from the space album and its grim up north are the basis of Turn Up The Strobe. Pure Trance 4 Maybe the Kylie Trance tunes were the beginnings of Love Trance. Pure Trance 3. This is all purely sceptical and any further insight or a link to the latest news on this would be appreciated. I don't think anyone disputes that WLWASIWH is mostly made up of the main riff of Go To Sleep/LTTT, but there's other stuff going on there, too. Though not terribly much. But, hey, it is Chill Out. It's fairly minimal overall. * RiCh! <rich@j1sproductions.com> [ 2006-09-09 ] [ RE: [KLF] Turn Up the Strobe - the bootleg ]
