You may already have seen it but Bill's seriously big book 25 Paintings is being offered through Penkiln Burn for the marginally cheaper (by £5) price of £20+postage. It's an interesting account of how he ended up doing the Birmingham stint earlier this year plus rumination on the music industry and his "thoughts" when asked if he'd reform the KLF as a fundraiser for Eastside Projects. All good stuff but expect a fair bit of postage on top! And if that's not enough there's yet another Recovered and Remastered CD in the wings although Martin Ward appears to have the hump with me for daring to suggest that he was talking through his hat ( which some people may see read as exaggerating) when he said he'd had the rug pulled from under him legally as far as his little enterprise was concerned as the only avenue that seems to have been closed is Discogs. I don't know what's next...maybe This is Not What Waiting is all About with an extra 15 minutes of Waiting about noise before yet another CD comes along? Like I said last time the earlier Recovered and Remastered series housed some rare gems with good quality sound but of late the Space and Chill Out versions last about three plays before the novelty wears out and you find yourself wondering why you bought them when you have the originals.
