I bought Shag Times on CD many years ago ... but it was stolen along with about 10 other KLF cds from my car a few years back .. most of them I have replaced but the Shag Times CD has been hard to come by. in this sense ... i hugely appreciate an upload like this. as an artist myself - i too recommend buying where possible ... but this is a KLF list ... sure .. go buy new music ... but dont give this guy a hard time for uploading KLF back catalogue does it also bother you that Blacksmoke make their tracks available free on the website rather than sending them to shops for any number of middle-men to make money from them? i, for one, appreciate the upload of both. cheers chief -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Simon Daw Sent: 19 October 2003 22:38 To: klf@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [KLF] Shag Times
I'm always interested in completing my collection so if you know of other good sites I'd be grateful.
I can remember in the good old days when we had to buy things called records and cds and pay (sometimes lost of) money for them. Life must be so dull now that you only have to visit a fan run ftp site and download all this stuff for free. Where's the fun in that? _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf -- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
