Hello there,

Just to say that it was a really good gig on Friday night, myself and my friend Janet got there about 9:15pm, were the first people through the door got our free exclusive CD and we were in. My friend Janet had left around 01:00 am, an hour before Jimmy and The Orb were due on-stage in the White Room. We were both shattered having worked through the entire week. Once I'd seen Janet off, I went into the White Room just to chill out, can't remember of the name of the DJ's who were playing but they were absolutely brilliant.

Anyway the time was approaching 2am when Jimmy and the lads came on-stage, having not met Jimmy Cauty before (only spotted him once about 13 years ago in Brixton), I was very nervous about meeting them having been a fan for the last 16 years. He played his set for about an hour which included It's Grim Up North (Pt. 2), What Time Is Love? (1988 Pure Trance Classic) and few others which had the "Ancients of Mu Mu" and "Doctorin' the Tardis" samples. Once he had finished, I managed to have a chat with him and got his autograph. As I've gone back into the White Room, I kept enjoying myself and I met the lads from the Orb - all were absolutely brilliant towards me that night.

I left the Coronet around 4:30am, knowing that it was one of the best days ever - meeting my idols - thank you very much to Jimmy, Dr. Alex, Youth and the security crew for making it all possible. Reached home (Battersea) at 5:30am had a nice sleep and now I'm enjoying my two weekes annual leave from work, Cheers!

From Winston.
