When I first heard "Girls" I thought that's a good track. But I also think
that it's kinda dated. This kind of sound would be perfect in 1999. But back
then the Prodge boys pretended they were the best rock band in the world, so
I chose Genaside II instead (from whom the Prodigy stole almost everything,
"Firestater" for example). Since then GII never disappointed me.
Laim/Prodigy now may have a second wing, but maybe it's too late. At least,
"Girls" is a listenable track (unlike "Breathe", "Baby's Got a Temper"). For
me the best Prodigy album will be "Experience", I didn't like "Music For..."
as much as the first album. The Prodigy may be a world famous techno band,
but they would be nothing without the sonic revolutions of Genaside II or
Meat Beat Manifesto. AS for the KSTJ relations, well the KLF guys had some
sense of humour (see the lyrics, or hear their send-up KLF-version of Kylie
tracks).
