Fun Buggy, by Tunnock McNulty, out now (Loughville Press) With a foreward by KLF's Bill Drummond, this has to be something special. It's a sugar-fuelled poetic rollercoaster through the seams of Scotland; Granton, Inverclyde, Faifley, Easter Road, linked by the cut glass bottles of our very own brands of 'pop' - Limeade, Krystal Klear, and of course the Bru. Once you're hooked into it's snarling rhythm you're best not to stop until the very last gulp - peaking with a diatribe against Coca-Cola and its all-American heritage, the best images here are those of Scotland: the chip shops, the arcades, the muddy fields where kids amped up on cheap speed and Red Kola burn Time. Brilliant.
