Someone on this list (can't say who) sent me a jpeg of a lurid green vinyl "Turn Up the Strobe" in sleeve and labels about 18 months ago as an April's Fool. He also had a few "Love Trance" 12" promos at one point, but would not reveal his source. Not that I'm suggesting anything, but it all muddies the water. I suppose, even if it IS a prank, there's an argument foring own "Love Trance" purely for the story attached to it. A bit like someone owning one of the fake Mona Lisas - it's a conversation piece! John PS - I'm NOT comparing "Love Trance" to the Mona Lisa. Maybe Mona Lisa wearing a photoshopped gasmask. :-)

Assuming JJ isn't pulling everyone's leg, and assuming the WTIL:MA mix is of the same sound quality as on the Love Trance 12"--- If this Turn Up the Strobe track sounds enough like Love Trance then I think it throws Love Trance's genuine-ness into question. Whilst I can understand one track sounding a little un-KLFish, two tracks (that is two UNHEARD tracks) sounding the same makes the whole thing sound fake to me.
But if they both are 'pranks' then why so many years between tracks?
