Actually these tracks have been on two records, two twelve inches to be precise - NO TAPE! Both white labels but they had 'Adrenalin' in the run-out groove. One was Deep Shit/The Lovers' Side (Extended)
So this was Deep Shit part 1? There is something that confuses me a bit in that Adrenalin text. This is because I have thought they used Adrenalin first time(?) for pure trance series, which were after this.
the other was Madrugada Eterna with the edit and the extended version on it.
And this was probably eterna 1?
He was also the source for the white label SPACE promo with Jimmy's drawings on it that now finds itself in Thomas' collection.
Hmh, is there are scan of this somewhere? i'd very much like to see it.
Sadly enough we lost the contact and thus don't know if he has found that specific cassette after all! :-(
Damn :) ..but if you'd know his mail or address, you should keep those as you own information. I guess that guy wouldn't be so happy if there were 50 crazy KLF fans bombing his e-mail box ;)
The tracks were recorded in the house of this Jimmy-friend. A mobile MiniDisc recorder was plugged in and the four tracks (and several others that are of the rarer source) were recorded.
Do you remember what were those other tracks? :)
Fact 1: Deep Shit (i.e. Kylie with Bill's shouting intro) and The Lovers' Side (Ex) were NOT taken from a flexi! It was a common KLF 12" with the typical KLF promo sleeve. I *think* the run-out groove said KLF DS 1 A and B on it.
Could it be that DS 1 was never even pressed to flexi? That only these 12" WL's exists? It seems that it was also canceled because of ABBA-samples. I'm bit confused with all these Deep Shit stuff. I got a Deep Shit part 1 as an mp3 but after all this, I'm not sure if it is part 1 after all. It has an Kylie intro with YMCA and bill shouting ("Fuck that pop shit..etc") and then Queen with Bill rapping. I guess this is the one you describe above. But if this is part 1, where are part 2 and 3? And do those even exists? (I know, it's stupid to ask if something exists, when we are talking about KLF ;))
What a story!!! ;-)
Thanks for sharing all these info. This is absolutely great! BTW: I have (mp3) Kylie in a Trance (remix remix 1) 7:00: Does anyone know, what it is? It's probably from "Kylie Said To Jason Demos". I would also like to know, where all those unreleased demos in discog (and mp3's) have come from? Someone just happend to find studio tapes? :) -- antti l.
