Thank you Andrew, Nick, and KLF Online for your support. I've been interested in learning more about Maxine Harvey for so long so I feel a great sense of personal accomplishment to have this interview finished. It was not easy finding her. I called her former reggae producer Blacka Dread at his store in London and he said he could make the link. But after two followups I had nothing. Thank goodness that Mad Professor came through with the introduction. By the way, I have submitted the interview to the newspaper I write for, The Gleaner Extra, a free NYC weekly entertainment paper by the Gleaner Company. Although if you are not Jamaican or a big Jamaican music fan you've probably never heard of this paper. :-) When it goes to print (hopefully part one of the interview will run at the end of this week) I will let you know. Although if you read the online version you have it all. What parts of the interview surprised you the most? I guess for me it was finding out that the producer used someone else's picture on Maxine's album, Don't You Break My Heart. Another nice thing was that she was really touched to hear The White Room OST. It brought back a lot of memories. Anyway, if you guys wanna keep this topic alive I am all for it and I'll contribute and hopefully learn more!
