It is indeed the same guy. I met him at the 1993 Phoenix festival when he was about 14, he was wearing the old white KLF t-shirt so I naturally asked him why. I was bowled over by his enthusiasm, especially when I realised he was the author of the little KLF fanzine/book I had at home. He was heading for the main stage with a portable DAT as he had it on good authority that compere/DJ John Peel was to play K Sera Sera between acts It's a shame a kinda groundless elitism and smugness that seems to have come with adulthood has made him an ideal writer for the NME, one could argue. I still buy the wretched rag every week though =/ tbc Chris <mute@tpg.com.au> wrote: Quoting John Milne :
I'm not sure, but is he the same Pete Robinson that does the "Vs." interviews in the NME every week? He inyerviews stars (sometimes musicians, sometimes others) and is basically rather rude to them. Also, I seem to recall he had something to do with "Popbitch" a wee while back. Am I on the right track?
not quite - Popjustice is Pete R's website, but yes, that's him whose huge hand interrogates people in the NME. _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
