But it's acceptable to send private hate mail and then constantly pretend to be the injured party in a public forum?

RM doesn't mark his private e-mails as private or confidential, so I've go no problem in making them public.

Especially since they show that he leaps on the smallest of implied insults with vitriolic personal attack. This is reproducible behaviour that myself and others have suffered over years.

My point in making the message public was simply to educate those on the list as to what happens "behind the scenes" and to maybe make the RMStringer fan club a bit more aware of the full picture.

I stand by my initial e-mail. Kudos to MH79 for making some great new stuff available in a way that everybody has easy access to for the 3 weeks or so that we all need access to it. As a way of distributing new material to the maximum number of users his method beats *any* FTP server that *anybody* could set up. That was all I said, but then somebody had to make it personal...

PS: Now of *course* I expected a little flame war to erupt. I knew I couldn't get my point across without starting one, it was inevitable. But I'm also able to resist the temptation to stoke the flames for the next few days. I now return to "lurk mode" for the next few months...
