I suspect that’s the case, it’s an invalid Amazon address and somehow gets redirected to
stop-spoofing@amazon.com which then auto-replies.
We get temporary relief by submitting an unsubscribe request for that email to Xmission, but that request requires someone reads the email and clicks a link I think. And that’s not happening, so they kick back in again.
I’ve emailed the Xmission admins to see if they can assist.
Sadly, it seems the person down as list admin for this group has been absent for many many years so I don’t think we can get assistance there.
I’d be happy to take on that role, but I suspect Xmission would need the permission of the list-owner, and if he’s not contactable.....
