i think that applies to a lot of the more 'club' singles and promos, it's actually pretty hard to find mint or near mint copies of even some of the more common 12" singles i got an 004R a while back from ebay & it was in quite poor condition, though wasn't listed as such. first negative feedback i gave. since then there have obviously been many copies but it is always worth checking the condition which is often just vaguely "used" 004Y is a similar story & is often a bit battered, doesn't help that it was mastered kinda quiet with the odd crackle and pop inevitably interrupting the Virtual Reality Mix on many copies tbc. I agree, 8R white labels are pretty rare but 5T and 5R are like hens teeth! No idea why these later releases are so scarce; maybe DJs had twigged by then that they were in posession of something with significant value in 20 years time! ;-)

. One of the few gaps in my collection, I have never seen a w/l 4R. All of the pure trance white labels seem to be very rare, perhaps with the exception of 004T even 8R w/l seems to turn up more often than 005T & 005R.

Those 4R white labels are rather interesting. As far as I know I never came across a piece of vinyl like this. Is there anyone who's the proud owner of a w/l 4R?
I think there are white label/test pressings from every pressing run they ever made. Before actual run, plants always do test pressings.

so to have Damont scratched out would suggest that the plates were from Damont then moved to adrenalin...
Well, they were the KLF so this is highly possibble ;) If you look at 4R, other side is Orlake and other side is Damont. What happend there?
