The Netherlands boot had a cover that looked slightly "copied". The blue of the sky was grainy, possibly with pink areas of pixels (like a newspaper colour photograph that's been printed wrong). Over-all, the blue sky looked more purple than the original. Also, the split for puting the record in was on the left side of the front of the record, and not the right, as with all other records I've ever seen (the sleeve had been printed back to front, I think). Never knew there was a UK boot version as well. When was it made? John

Hmmm... '1987' had some clearly visible differences regarding the placement of text and logos on the label. I'll see if I got a good scan of both 'Chill Out' labels somewhere. Did you already check mh79's discography?
Thanks for reminding me of it! Just checked and it appears that the bootleg has the KLF logo (in addtion to the PB), says The KLF under the PB, and the half circle of text at the bottom of the label. What's listed as the official 12" doesn't have any of these - just the PB and Chill Out. So it looks like it's an original.
I find this hard to believe tho. I mean it's completely virgin. The vinyl clearly had never been out of it's sleeve.
There's also a Made in England sticker on the back; I doubt the Netherlands boots would have this. My 1987 boot doesn't, and the cover's cardboard is also thinner than the 1987 bootlegs.
