Yes there was.
 
When money is destroyed the people burning it are under constant gaurd, and are searched many times, because bank is so paranoid about any of the notes being stolen. They would never give to anyone, let alone musicians. A story dreampt up by non believers.

I've heard this before but I'm sure on the "Burn A Million Quid" film or on the Omnibus Documentary for the BBC there is a close up camera shot of the bank statement showing the £1,000,000 withdrawal
