&gt;&gt;Hi all,<br />&gt;&gt;<br />&gt;&gt;I know it was discussed before but I can't find the topic in the archive.<br />&gt;&gt;Sorry to ask you all again, but is there someone who know the manufacturer<br />&gt;&gt;and the model of the T-shaped speakers used by the KLF?<br />&gt;&gt;<br />&gt;&gt;Thanx,<br />&gt;&gt;Stephane<br />&gt;&gt;<br />&gt;&gt;<br />&gt;&gt;<br />Many years ago I brought this one up (approx 1998) as I bought a pair of<br />speakers when I was at University at Preston Market that were very<br />similar to the ones on the front cover of The White Room, the pair I've<br />got are made by Hitachi. &nbsp;The writing on the back has faded so I can't<br />see what model no they are, I think though the ones that The KLF used on<br />their White Room cover were just DJ custom built speakers like you can<br />get from Images -<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="http://www.images2.co.uk/Sound_Equipment/Speaker_Components.Empty_Cabinets/" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">http://www.images2.co.uk/Sound_Equipment/Speaker_Components.Empty_Cabinets/</a><br /><br />You'd get a similar speaker if you got 4 of the Empty 15&quot; Bass Bin<br />Cabinets and glued them together into a T-shape (which is probably what<br />The KLF did!) and then added 3 15&quot; speakers to it and had the wires<br />running out of the top left speaker, although at &pound;85 for each bass bin,<br />you're talking of quite a bit of money just to create a nice piece of<br />art - maybe it could win next years Turner prize!
