Okay, I know it's old. But I've only been on the list a month, so it's new to me!
Anyway, just thought I'd say that years and years and YEARS ago, I was in Virgin Megastore in Dundee, Scotland and spotted amongst the many, many, MANY Beatles bootleg CDs they seemed to have (no music, just interview discs and all the rest) a CD featuring a track called "XXXXXXX (Live at Trancentral)". I can't remember what song it was - but it was a very famous Lennon and MacCartney number - and I wondered if it was "A Hard Day's Night"?? This would have probably been around about 1993, and most of these Beatles bootlegs and "imports" were fairly dodgy quality (and never contained anything interesting) so I never bought it - d'oh! But if I saw one copy - particularly in a proper record shop - then there must have been others. Maybe someone with a big, big, BIG Beatles fan mate could help?
And isn't there a huge book with every Beatles bootleg ever made listed in it, or something?
John
Not Scots, just Scott-ish.
