If you continue to have problems it might be worth setting up a hotmail (www.hotmail.com) or yahoo mail (www.yahoo.com then hit a 'mail' link - not sure of the precise address right now) account for the purpose of lists such as this. Your mail is then held on a web-based server that you can access from anywhere so you shouldn't have any problems with clients such as Outlook.

That said, I recently sent a message to the list from this yahoo mail account but despite showing in my 'sent' folder it never reached the list members. First time for everything I guess...
