I recall seeing an interview with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer years ago where they said that were planning on doing a programme/series about making number one records (and also Eurovision/novelty songs) and would also be releasing a single in a similar vein along with it at the same time. Looks as if this idea has now come to some kind of fruition! :-)
