Hi All, Well it really reminds me of a lot of Andy Warhol's work. He tried to show the rank commercialism and hypocrisy of the usa through his work. I believe James is borrowing from that genre... of course it may just be crap... As we know that is the lure of "Art" ;) Regards, Mark ----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Gagen" <DGagen@EnsembleStudios.com> To: "All bound for Mu-Mu Land." <klf@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, November 20, 2003 7:47 PM Subject: RE: [KLF] new art I'm not sure what American pop artist or artists you are referring to. I'd like to see their work. No pop artist that I know of has become successful doing crap like this. This new work of his just falls into the category of poorly executed, amateur level, computer photo collage. It honestly looks a little better than some of the stuff I did on my friends Amiga paint program in 1986-87. I am only referring to the 2 new pieces. The ones with the queen and Big Ben are much better.
