Hi everyone, Last year, Neil Young's "On the Beach" was issued on CD for the first time (after nearly 30 years). And only this week, 40 years after it was recorded, "The Paul Simon Songbook" has finally been issued on compact disc. These are two albums which have been deleted for decades, and also which the artists swore would never be issued on CD for nearly 20 years. Now, it seems to me, that if Neil and Paul can do it - what about Bill and Jimmy? Hypothetically - how would people feel about a reissue program? Would the idea of shiny new CDs (possibly even - gasp! - officially downloadable mp3s?) appeal? Or would it destroy the mystique, I wonder? John PS - And of course, it goes without saying, there would be no vinyl. ;)
