Possibly remixed by a friend/co-konspirator as a present?

Hi,
Another simple question: what exactly is/was the point of the "Acid Mix" on WTIL? It's a great remix, but doesn't seem to have the obvious novelty value of KLF92PROMO2 (which I gather was handed out to DJs for playing in clubs on New Year's Eve 1991/2). Instead it is a very different, stand-alone remix - and they only pressed 20 COPIES.
Why would a band - even one as obsessed with limited editions as the KLF were in their late days - go to all the bother of pressing up such a TINY amount of what, in effect, is a brand new track?
John
