My initial reaction is - could Neil Dutton have pressed up an acetate before pressing up the "Italian" mix bootleg? As far as I'm aware, the only genuine appearances of "Madrugada Eterna" on 12" vinyl (and therefore, the only time an acetate would have been made by the KLF themselves) would have been either (a) the infamous "Deep Shit Part 3" single (which features the club mix of "M E" alongside "Deep Shit" and "Lover's Side (Extended)") or (b) the KLF ETERNA 1 12", which features three versions of "M E", including the original, the club mix and a club mix edit. In fact, wasn't KLF011T also meant to be "Madrugada Eterna" for a while (as well as the aborted Christmas 1989 single of "No More Tears" which the children's choir from the "White Room" OST)? In short, if this IS an acetate - then its one made up in preparation of a bootleg (ETERNA 23), I think. But, like you say, others share your thoughts . John
