The wreck painting was used in the 1960s by UK satrical magazine "Private Eye" (the joke being, one of the drowing men says to another: "That's the last time I book a Thompsons holiday ... ")
It's a very common image. The photo of Neptune on the cover, however, would have been only about 1 year old at the time. I think it came from Voyager 2.
