The Serbian radio disc jockey Miomir Grujic, better known as Fleka, who has died aged 49, was one of the pivotal figures in Belgrade's avant- garde art scene and counterculture.

Bills' encounter with Fleka for the War Child 'Magnificent' project got me more interested in Fleka and I learned a great deal of his involvement in the Belgrade 'underground' scene and his efforts in bringing the plight of the regime to teh rest of western europe is truly one of the most heart-wrenching stories you will ever hear. I'd rather hear a telephone-sampled 'This is Radio B92' than Robbie Williams' ego-inflated shite anyday. Andrew
