[KLF] OT - Video editing and rendering

I am trying to re-encode an AVI file to an MPG and I get the error message when trying to use TMPG encoder: Warning: nothing to output bframe decoder lag. I can encode the file in full, but I get no audio with it. Can anyone help me?
