But the KLF were actually the Residents in disguise, weren't they? ;-) I think it's unlikely that Bill & Jimmy are involved in anything other than tacit approval. Bill's nearly 60, and seems quite happy with his new role as a fishing-writing-soup-making-17-producing celebrity for the "Word" magazine crowd. And Jimmy's presumably enjoying the post-honeymoon period with his Thompson Twin. As I said before, it's a bit like the Pythons going back to doing a TV sketch show in their old age - they've all got other careers now (Hollywood director, travel writer, historian, professional John Cleese impersonator, musical impressario and ashes in an urn) and I can't see any of them turning their back on what they're doing now to revisit old, old glories ... Still looking forward to the FLK album, though! :-) John On Wed, Aug 24, 2011 at 4:35 AM, Dan T. Hutchins <danthutchins@gmail.com>wrote:
Entirely possible. Also possible KLF are making the rrcords and masterminding the project while stand-ins wear the cow heads.

Has anyone commented on the physical appearance of The FLK? Jimmy
carries a bit of a paunch these days, and Bill isn't as slim as he used be either. The cow-headed FLK duo look like they're closer to 25 than 55. Anyhow, the whole thing looks like an obvious rip-off to me, lacking both the polish and originality that B&J display in even their most recent works (Riot In A Jam Jar etc). The folly of two guys who still live rent free with their parents perhaps?
