Here's my experience with my collection JAMSCD3 JAMSCD4 JAMSCD5 x 2 JAMSCD6 The CD4 and one of the CD5's has bronzing on the label side. This is worse on the CD4; a few pinholes are now visible when holding the CD up to the light. None of the others have any problems. All of the CD's play fine. CD4 and CD5 have the legend "made in U.K. by PDO", and the others don't. I don't know if I've been fortunate, or merely don't really notice the deterioration much, but my copies of JAMSCD3, 4, 5, 6, SPACE CD1, KLFCD 010 and 004 are all reasonable to the eye and still play fine. As far as I'm aware, these are the only KLF discs that were manufactured by PDO and affected by the problem, but I may be wrong. Admittedly, there is a slight browning in both "Shag Times" and "WTILS", which I gather is one of the symptoms, but this has not got worse in about four years with either of them. I just store my CDs normally, in the boxes, and they have been carted from home to home for over a decade now. Have I just been lucky, or is the PDO problem limited in its scope? Or again, do I have the death of my CDs still to look forward to? John
