Well spotted! I think you could well be right! I think the LP version has various "clues" as to the original original version's sound.

I would bet my signed promo copy af KLF07R (if I had one) that there's a snippet of the original "Last Train" on then JamsLP6 version og the song. All Maxine vocals on JamsLP6 can be found on the original soundtrack, except when she sings "Take the laaaaast train", why drag her back in the studio just to record this line???? The original was a vocal track !!!

Personally, I still think the wee snippets of an unreleased "Last Train" mix on the White Room movie real-time soundtrack are parts of the "original" track.
