Tate Modern is an old power station I think. IIRC some of the old equipment is still in it, and is now used as a kind of exhibit... -----Original Message----- From: klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+chris=k23productions.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of John Milne Sent: 20 October 2005 17:27 To: All bound for Mu-Mu Land. Subject: Re: [KLF] Stamp of the Month Stupid question, probably - but is the Tate or the Tate Modern build inside an old sugar factory? I thought since Tate and Lyle were sugar manufacturers ... there might some architecture link. I've never been to either, mind. Despite the (relative) fame of the K Foundation's Turner Prize jaunt, I love the London-centricism of a illustration of the Tate Mordern. :-) John
