I could be wrong, but I seem to remember that early Killing Joke (i.e., before "Kiss the Lips of Life" singles) did not feature Jimmy at all.  I'm pretty sure "Wait For It" was almost a Youth solo effort.

Such a shame that with the eighties revival now in full swing, a proper reissue CD of "Kiss the Lips of Life" with b-sides, remixes, etc, isn't now available.
