Maybe someone knows more about this... All the way during IGUN (part 1), there are those short blips and bleepers (like 0:54 - 0:58 or around 7:20). Now, while listening to FSOL's "Papua New Guinea (hybrid full length mix)", I had the feeling that there are the very same blips sampled here and there. Were they original JAMS samples or could it just be the very same piece of hardware and very similar tones ? (for those who don't got the FSOL remix and want to check out: www.klf-communications.com/mp3s/fsol-hybrid.mp3 ) And yet another one... In Blue Pearl's "Naked in the rain" at 2:25, there is an effect of some deep bass (?) panning from left to right that I feel got used in later KLF tracks as well (Madrugada for example). Was Jimmy Cauty more than just remixing their track, or did he just keep and use the sample like they used everything else ? :-) Nice weekend ------ Thomas Touzimsky "Sometimes I think of letting go and never looking back and never moving forward so there would never be a past."
