Well, the quality is not very good (understatement) so the best you could do would be to try to find a better source for the footage. But when that fails... I use an Add-on for Firefox called VideoDownloader which allows any flash video from YouTube and many other places to be downloaded with ease. I then play these in Media Player Classic with help of a FLV splitter. If the idea of a browser add-on doesn't seem good, there are many sites (ex <http://videodownloader.net/> or google for Youtube Download for others) that help you do this with you providing a link for the page and they returning a link for the video file. There are stand-alone FLV players, but I have found their performance and features greatly lacking. VideoDownloader add-on: <https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/> Media Player Classic: <https://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/> FLV splitter for Media Player Classic - same place as Media Player Classic (You *might* also need the FFDSHOW codec package, not sure about this since I've been using it since forever, it can be found at <http://ffdshow.sourceforge.net/>) You can also transcode the FLV stuff to other formats, for more convenient playing, but at a small quality loss (unless you go to a lossless format, which I can't imagine). // ________________________________ From: klf-bounces+kristoffer.bjorkman=frontnet.org@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:klf-bounces+kristoffer.bjorkman=frontnet.org@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Mark Weston Sent: Monday, November 27, 2006 9:54 AM To: KLF@mailman.xmission.com Cc: Orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: [KLF] OFF TOPIC.........You Tube Video ripping / downloading Hi.all......need your help here.
