Haven't had a chance to see if it's on the DVD I bought (but I suspect not, as it's supposed to be on the "Audio" DVD, and not the one I bought), but the EP is downloadable via iTunes (do a search for Blue Man Group). Superb stuff! :-)

We had a group booking for 22 people and went to see them on Sun 30th. I loved the show in it's entirity but was utterly gobsmacked when LTTT came in! Everyone in the row looked straight at me! Nick King (who is also on this list) came to the wedding and BMG show and he bought a DVD copy of the show so i'm sure he'll let us know if it's included on that. Go and see it folks if you get the chance :) Phil. ----- Original Message ----- From: Adam Wolfson To: 'All bound for Mu-Mu Land.' Well, I finally had the opportunity last night to see the Blue Man Group perform, and the experience was awesome! A lot of the songs were great that they performed, but for me, the best moment of the show was the Last Train To Transcentral performance. Basically, it's everything you have read about it, and then some. Towards the end of the show, the BMG guys run up to the balcony area, where I was sitting, and start unfurling all of this toilet paper all over the place. So they had us grab the stuff, and throw it down to the audience below. Needless to say, the entire auditorium got covered in the stuff. The actual performance of Transcentral itself was amazing. Now then, it's not the "original" KLF version, but since we'll probably never hear Bill and Jimmy ever perform it live.well, this is about as close as we can get to it. The song was literally booming in the multi-channel surround audio setup they had in the theatre. I've heard Transcentral many times before on my DVD player emulating 5.1 sound.but this version was literally just amazing! The only downside to the whole experience was that they didn't allow much in the terms of dancing to the music. I got yelled at by security to sit down after screaming "Bring out the JAMs Blue Man Group!" and began jumping around. So if you go, don't expect yourself to be able to dance around to the music much, because they'll just yell at you to sit down. After the full performance of Transcentral, they replayed it again, this time playing only half of the song. Then the lights went out, and people were clapping and screaming encore. So... Transcentral went back into full blast mode again, and the song played away while they introduced all the other performers and staff that help made the show possible. They played about ¾ of the song until they finally stopped, and the show ended. All I can say is, well..if you ever get the chance to see BMG live, go see it, especially if their venue performs Transcentral. Believe me, it is definently worth the price of admission. Finally.. Although no credit was given to the KLF for Transcentral during the show (except in the lyrics.which I have a feeling most people in the audience thought BMG wrote), they did have a huge stack of "White Room" CDs for sale. I was quite surprised by that, but they had copies of the Arista Records USA release of the CD on sale. This version was the one that includes the Justified and Ancient EP on it. So, to sum it all up, go see this show! You won't be disappointed in the Transcentral performance! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com
