Back in the day a guy named, um, Miles? Niles? something joined the list. He said he wasn't a KLF fan but he had a copy of this 12". He sent me a tape of it. I still have it and the letter he wrote (just came across it last week in fact). Side A is labeled Deep Shit and contains The Queen and I, but at the start Bill yells "Fuck that pop shit! What we need is some deep shit!" I think it started off with some sort of music, there's a record scratch sound, Bill shouts then Queen kicks off. Side B is The Lover's Side, but it's the extended version, previously unknown until that time, which confirms it's ID as the Deep Shit 12" as far as I'm concerned. MadRu does not appear on the 12". -paul (who finally resolved the five year problem as to why list emails weren't coming through!)
I am a little confused about what actually is on this release(KLF010IR/IT).
A-side: The Queen and I (plus Bill shouting) B-side: The Lovers Side ???Some remix of Madrugada Eterna
Can anyone tell if Madrugada is on the 12 '', and?if so : What version. (maybe the so-called 303-edit, or the clubmix from Eterna 1). ? Ulrik Brandt ?
