Hmmm – interesting. Where can a copy of Jez’s Chillout 2 be obtained? I’ve just done a Google search, and found this old thread: http://mailman.xmission.com/lurker/message/20040629.221525.1e58e5ff.en.html In it Jez states that he was responsible for the “3am Coming Down Off E” mix that was discussed (amongst other times) towards the end of last year on this list. I seem to remember saying I thought it wasn’t an original Jimmy production, but I was told that it actually was. Anyone care to clarify one way or the other. And a copy of CO2 would be nice to take a listen to…… I’m trying to compile a nice long list of KLF tracks to listen to on the trip to Spain. Some people actually liked it so much that they even said that they DID it.... i've heard a few remixes in my time and yes "remixed & remodelled" is def up there at the top... along with Jez's chillout 2, and a few others that i do really enjoy listening to at any time of day.... But for me there are just too many with a break beat over the top that show next to no creativity and essentially spoil the track. There are some decent ones though. I’m a purist, I tend not to like anything other than the original tracks but every now and then something turns up, often in the player at the bottom of the site, which makes my ears take notice. For me the Kuta and C-Row Remodelled and Remastered selection totally takes the cake. I’ve not heard anything that comes close to this in terms of quality and raw production talent, that somehow manages to capture the original essence and bring it right up to date. Of course, I’d like to stumble across something that rivals these – anyone got any other good ones? -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com _______________________________________________ KLF mailing list KLF@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/klf Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com
