I second Paul's recommendations - Berwick St and Oxford St HMV will keep you busy for hours. There's a record shop every few yards on Berwick St. Rough Trade is well worth a visit and Blackmarket Records (near Berwick St) is good too. Sister Ray usually have a few KLF bits (is the AWTIL picture disc still there for 120 quid?) but nothing amazing, and it's all overpriced. There are tons of other shops obviously, but not in such high concentration as around Soho and the West End. On Sun, Aug 04, 2002 at 10:06:10AM -0400, TheMgnt@aol.com wrote:
I will be in London for one week (or at least this is what my plans say) in September. Are there any cool record shops I should check out?
Berwick street. Several cool shops down there, including Sister Ray.
Off Leicester Square there is a tiny little shop in one of the alleys I found myself hanging out at for nearly an hour.
At Notting Hill there are three Music and Video Exchanges, one in particular had a lot of cool rare stuff. Also a Rough Trade.
Oxford Street HMVs are HUGE. Even a few booties there.
Tower Records at Picadilly Sq.

These are the places I hit on a recent vist. Not a lot of KLF stuff, tho, if that's your primary. Make sure the credit card is nice and light...
