Here's some info I've copied from Tom over on the Stephen Duffy Yahoo Group: Actually, youtube videos download to your PC in a tempory Internet folder before playing. They're in a format with a .flv extension. If you search your temp files right after playing a video, you'll find such a file there somewhere with a generic type of name. Just rename the file and copy it to a permanent storage folder. There's at least one FLV player out there. I use one by Riva (link below). There might be better players available.
