I'm with you - I rarely like the basic remixes of mash ups... and I LOVE "Remodelled"... such a great disc, and I like the flow... also love "Sounds Of Mu" - but I don't know WHAT you count that as...

We’ve all heard many remixes and reworks of KLF tracks. But for me there are just too many with a break beat over the top that show next to no creativity and essentially spoil the track. There are some decent ones though.

 

I’m a purist, I tend not to like anything other than the original tracks but every now and then something turns up, often in the player at the bottom of the site, which makes my ears take notice. For me the Kuta and C-Row Remodelled and Remastered selection totally takes the cake. I’ve not heard anything that comes close to this in terms of quality and raw production talent, that somehow manages to capture the original essence and bring it right up to date.

 

Of course, I’d like to stumble across something that rivals these – anyone got any other good ones?
