This is one wicked cool revelation. I've had a very bad MP3 for years, then a better MP3, now this. I converted this to Apple Lossless, threw it on the iPod, and listened to it in my very good car stereo on the way to work...sounded fantastic! Was any restorative work done on this or was the 12" just prisitine and the recording levels just right? The WAV of this turned into a relatively high bit-rate AL file.
