The way I read the liner notes from WTIL, the "Children Of The Revolution" is whoever contributed to the song in question, either actively or through samples. ..::// Thomas Touzimsky "My wife is passionately fond of flowers, and I always give her a punch on her birthday." - Letter in daily paper Am 23.08.2010 um 16:04 schrieb John Milne:
Oh, and re: "The Children of the Revolution" reference on "What Time is Love (Live at Trancentral)". As far as I'm aware, it's not meaning any one specific - it's a reference to the MC5. I'm sure the "Kick Out the JAMs" album features shout outs to "The Children of the Revolution" ... or is it maybe "The Doors Absolutely Live". Both of which are sampled on WTIL, anyway. And I think that's where TCOTR reference comes from.
