Darren: i've got nearly complete archives of the list for the last few years. if theres no searchable archive (cant remember if xmission allows that or not) i can dig all the scooter stuff out if you want it. email me offlist. my understanding is that scooter think KLF stuff was well done, so they copy lots of it, often. its too easy to find links from Scooter stuff to KLF stuff. Thought: As "The KLF" get older and older, and the younger generations don't know about them, are we going to see more stuff 'inspired by the klf' being created? you know what they say about everything old becomes new again - since breakbeat seems to have swung around again, isnt it time for stadium house to make a comeback? cheers brendan /via webmail from work

Has Scooter been mentioned on this list before? LOTS of times. I dont know much about them myself - always meant to hunt down some mp3s but never did. lets say i have a 3am eternal disc, a white room disc, and that 91 timelords single. most disgographies list them all as being released in 91, but what date in 91? (which came out first, etc) I see. But most of that information is still in the discog, you just need to look for it. For example, the official discog lists 3am in Jan 1991, The White Room in March 91, Last Train in April 91, Stadium House video in July 91, America WTIL in Oct 91, IGUN in Oct 91, Justified and Ancient in Nov 91, and MU in Dec 91 (that's a lot of output!). In certain cases it will list individual release info. IE: the Timelords US CD5 came out in July 91 while all the other Timelords singles came out in 1988. If you're looking for a release by release, 12" by CD5, by specific date, that's just too much to ask of your average discographer. In some cases you don't even know when something came out. Someone wanders into a used cd shop and finds a promo of some single no one knew existed from three years before.
