Actually, the funny thing is, I remember when some of my friends were first into Scooter, around about 1996 (particularly the song "Friends") I never really connected with the KLF references. Have they become more obvious the later into their career Scooter have got? Also - 14 years of basically the same music? Is this some sort of record, particularly in the fast music area of dance music?

Thanks for the upload, Darren. Seems like IGUN is one of those tracks that just lends itself to parody - probably because it's such a deceptively simple song. So, now we have G-Force "It's Brill Up North" and Radsonic/Hardcore Outlaws' "It's Weird Out West" (does anyone know if the band are actually called Radsonic or Hardcore Outlaws?). Not forgetting the Mad Jocks (a list of Scottish towns, briefly inserted into a megamix) and our own John Lummey's "It's Grim On the Docks". WTIL - different promo video

hi there I remember watching an interview with KLF taken from WORK video tape, it was from a Media Show programme, Bill and Jimmy were being interviewed at Trancentral, you could see a glimpse of some of the equipment there and they were basicly talking about the music industry and the media. In between you could see short snippets of "What Time Is Love" video (I guess the interview was shot around September 1990) but it was a different version to the "cornfields" promo - here you could see the T-shaped Hitachi speakers from "Waiting" with some lasers from a blue-box editing and a camera close-up of MC Bello rapping the lyrics and some shots of their second TOTP performance. For years I was curious about this different version and guess what, I've finally tracked it down on a Telestar video compilation! For those anxious to see it, I've uploaded a DIVX rip to Rapidshare and you can find the download link below. After reading the about the KLF cover versions i have pulled from the bag labelled charity shop a 12" by KYJ called IT'S GREAT DOWN SOUTH. An answer to THE JAMMS, listing everyting thats great about the south. Also a track called They Play Down South listing all the London area football teams.
