Maybe my mp3s are all fucked up, but my "Chill Outs" 2 & 3 (both split into two mp3s) don't end with an acid track in either case: "CO2" ends with "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaac and "CO3" seems to cut off halfway through "Build a Fire". I was making a joke anyway - I found it contradictory that he writes an essay where he states that on Nov 21st he will not listen to music, encourage the reader to as well, then in the footer it states he will be appearing at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival from the 17-26 of Nov, where, I assume, he will be hearing music. -paul

Instead, I would be thinking about what I wanted and what I didn't want from music. Not to blindly - or should that be deafly - consume what was on offer. A day where I could develop ideas. I listen only their first two albums because on this two I found something new and out of mainstream at this time and their other albums is crap. I much more love Deep forest than Enigma because Enigma is way too commercial. (1) Two copies of JAMSCD4 on Ebay at the same time! Hmm ... like buses ... (2) My mpeg of "Last Train to Trancentral (Live on TOTP)" has apparently been taken down from Youtube, because of complaints by the copyright holders (the BBC). Quite why my film has been picked on, when there are hundreds of other off-air mpegs kicking about the site, I have no idea. I must admit, I'm wondering if the BBC are going to try and launch something in opposition to Youtube. Recent news stories about Youtube, coming from the Beeb, suggest they are V pissed off at their old content being shown for free of the site (of course, they like to keep all their own old historical broadcasts, and occasionally wipe them in acts of cultural vandalism). I wonder what'll happen to my IGUN, WTIL and 3AM TOTPs. Could be interesting ... John
