This is where Christianity was first introduced to Scotland by St. Columba in the 6th Century. And without him, Bill Drummond's Dad (a Church of Scotland minister) would never have had a job (and possibly been unable to raise a family) so in that way, I suppose, it's on-top! ;) John

Or "on topIC" even! There is actually an interesting history of musical pranksters (like BD himself) within Scotland, going back at least two centuries. A collection of ancient Gaelic poems and songs were "discovered" (and much-loved by people like Byron) called "Ossian", which were in actual fact written in the 1790s by a struggling poet called James MacPherson.
