My work PC doesn't connect at all (but I have no problem with other FTP sites) and my home PC connects but I never get a directory listing. Am using WSFTP 9.1, Passive mode is off, port 21. Anything else I might be missing? Feel free to post privately so as not to clutter the list. BTW has anyone upped that new WTIL remix? I really want to hear the whole thing. The exchange rate USD-UKP sucks right now so I'm holding off buying it a little bit... -paul

Isn't it just the string part from "The Big Country" on "The Only Rhyme That Bites"? The string part on LT2T has never been properly idenitified, as far as I'm aware - some say it's "Ski Sunday" or "The Horse of the Year Show" trilling strings parts. John PS - Does anyone know of a new version of Rhythm is Rhythm's "Strings of Life" that's been released recently? I heard a new-to-me mix on the radio just before Xmas. Any ideas? Well, "The Only Rhyme" definitely features a sample from "The Big Country" - LT2T doesn't, as far as I can tell. If it does, then it's been heavily changed. "The Only Rhyme" was released in July 1990 on ZZT, according to Lazlo's ZZT discog, so LT2T predates it by at least six months (if you include "Witchita Lineman Was A Song I Once Heard" on JAMSLP5, which nipped out the month before KLF8R) and possibly even by a year (if you include "Go To Sleep" on the unreleased "White Room" soundtrack). Did we ever settle this? I just checked www.discogs.com again, and all listed released were put out in 1990. It sounds genuine to me - I've never heard of any boots of CHOC ICE 3 (save for compilation appearances). Even the one-track CDR which came out in 1994 is meant to be genuine (it was apparently approved by Jimmy and Cress, I think). On a similar subject - I picked a copy of Illuminatus' cover of "WTIL?" clear vinyl 12" a few weeks ago. Is the clear vinyl edition particularly rare - or at least, rarer than the black vinyl one? Oh, and I got the "Beatz" mix of WTIL from HTF Records today - it's one-sided. It's recorded by an artist called "The Tricknologist", and is the sixth release on the Tricknology label (http://www.tricknologist.co.uk/) and it is refered to on the label as "K Boy Zee's 2ci Dub".
