Did you see the shots of his reinactment of the Miner's Strike riots? Quite fantastic - if a little reminscent of Monty Python's Battley Town's Women's Guild reinactment of Pearl Harbour! Is this, perhaps, the most expensive KLF record ever sold on ebay (assuming it's a genuine transaction?) - it seems to have gone for twice that of the most expensive "Love Trance". A lot of the PT samples seem to date from Cauty's experimental 1989 period (when he worked on "Eternity Project One", the beginnings of the Orb, and various side projects like "Brooklyn New York") before returning to the commerical fold with melodies and ambient loveliness later on that year. The "penetration seven minutes" sample, for example, appears in "Space" (which presumably was originally started in 1989, too, with Alex). I'm not sure if this makes it a genuine KLF record, or goes anyway to ending the argument. But then, bootlegs have always been an area of confusion.
