A while ago I visited the xfm website,on which was a link to a german site I think.....anyway I left my e-mail address they e-mailed me a password and I listened to a whole batch of KLF mighty weird stuff,It was a while ago now but one tune that did stick out was "Born free"?-Anyone listen to this batch of mp3's? LSOM 3

Hi, David, Thanks for the feedback. Apologies I can't cut and paste from you e-mail, but my Outlook and web-based emails aren't talking to one another at the moment! Not sure about factory pressing the CD. I certainly can't do it, but if people are interested then, of course, they can. The same presumably goes from Paul's "History" CD - although I've not seen the tracklisting for that yet. Paul, what is it? Anyway, on to your comments: Granted, "Help" is everywhere, but the track was included (a) because I like it, and (b) I thought "The Magnificent" was a good title for a bootleg. Love Trance/Deep Shit/Lover's Side are all good quality, and come from both Daniel at klf.de and Paul - I think they're both originally from the same source. Madrugada Eterna Club Mix Edit is from the Russian mp3 CD collection which came out at the turn of the decade, and the sound quality is, to my untrained ear, good. The WTIL (Monster Attack) is taken from Miles Tighe's KLF 6T copy which was sold on ebay last year. Gary in the Tardis (Minimal) off CD is pretty tricky to get hold of, I would argue (certainly, ebay only throws it up once or twice a year). The same goes for the Possum mix of "Burn the Beat". It's one of my favourite KLF track versions, too - again, a good reason to include it! ;-) The sound quality off the White Room for E-Train etc. does, of course, "suck" - but Andy's DVD is excellent quality. Maybe someone could rip them off that? The two tracks off the "Power Mix" are, as you say, not too rare - but then, I like them, hence their inclusion. The "Vitamin E" compilation I've only seen on CD once (when I bought it) so I think it's worth of inclusion. I got the Disco 2000 CD single on GEMM for $5 fifteen months ago - in Belgium it seems to be quite easy to get, despite being deleted since 1989. Keep searching. Alternatively, if you want, drop me a line and I'll see what I can do about a CDR. As far as I was aware "Deep Heat 8" and "10" included exclusive KLF tracks (an edit of WTIL Moody Boys and Benio Over and Out), not "12". Are you maybe thinking of "Indie Top 20 Volume 12" which - I think - includes the KLF 8R b-side "Pure Trance Original" of "Last Train"? And as far as the Orb/KLF being seperate are concerned - fair enough. This CDR is just a wee bit of fun, and if people want it, they can have it for free. I would hope this would make it a worthy successor to the works of - as you say - a thief. You never know, he may even reappear, complaining of breach of copyright and people can get their money back! Although, yes, I agree with you that his Arkives were good - sadly, I only have low quality CDRs I got at a record fair in 1999. Thanks for the interest anyway, David. Thanks, David. As far as the CDR copies I'm sending out to people, I've decided to have a cover that's a beautiful photo of the Isle of Jura (downloaded off the net, admittedly) in the haze of that briefest of things we call a Scottish summer. ;-) The back cover will still be Bill holding the docile ovine. The title, I've decided, will be "The KLF - What Time Was Love". At home I have a collection of "additional" Lost Sounds on CDR (going from 3 to 19; and made up various mp3s and rarities) and I don't want to get confused! What people want to do with this bootleg once they recieve their copy is entirely up to them, though. And I'll try and send a tracklisting copy to Brendan soon.
