Ebay should have some rules to protect you in that case. You have a right to a refund if you are sold an item that isn't legitimate even if the seller is unaware. I think their rules used an example of a piece of jewelry with a fake stone. I ended up having to use it when someone tried to sell me a rare toy that was incomplete and UV damaged. They tried to say that it wasn't their fault because they didn't know that wasn't original condition of the toy. I imagine you could use it for a record too. That is if they haven't changed the rules around. Compacta is the closest of all without going for the real one, which I cannot remember off hand. Hi I was in Bank Tube station in London on Friday, transferring from the Northern to the Circle/District line through a seemingly never-ending series of tunnels, when I passed a poster which said, roughly speaking: "In 1994, The KLF burnt a million quid". It seemed to be part of a series of posters, possibly commemorating various historical events, presumably advertising something. Anybody else noticed it, and had the time to stop and investigate? I've been watching this auction. Sadly enough I haven't got a money machine ;) What I meant is that I knew a few hadf to excist, but never saw one irl before. It's the same with KLF004X clear vinyl. How many people got one? What about the blue vinyl? A brief hello

Hi, everyone, As some of you know, even though I haven't posted for a while, I am still very much a lurker on the list. I apologise for not contributed more, but unfortunately things with my teacher training course have not been going too well and I have been forced to withdraw due to illness. I probably won't be posting again for while, but I thought I'd just say "hi" to everyone, since I seem to be contacting more people off list than ever (!) A couple of things, then I'll be off: (a) You may know already, but "Doctorin' the Tardis" appeared on "Top of the Pops 2" last week. It was the very first clip, introduced by Steve Wright, who told viewers that (even after 15 years) all the TOTP2 staff loved the song! At the end, he said: "It's hard to believe that's the same guys who brought us the Legend of Mu". Nice to hear the Lost Continent mentioned on television! (b) I have been thinking about an important date in the KLF kalendar - August 23rd 1994, to be precise. I know it's over a year and a half away till the tenth anniversary of the burning of a million quid, but how about some kind of gathering of KLF fans on the Island (or as near as we can get it) on August 23rd 2004? The annual "Wicker Man" festival in Galloway has gone from strength to strength since it first started with just 50 fans in 1998: http://www.thewickermanfestival.co.uk/. Couldn't we have a similar thing for our obsession? It could even appeal to the same constituency, with the mysticism, the music, old raves (imagine a 1989-themed rave in the Scottish Highlands!), and maybe even guest appearances and speakers (no, not a Singing Fish Called Wanda Dee, don't worry). It's just a thought, folks. What do others think - should/could we have a festival? Bill and Jimmy may not like it - but they don't have to come. ;-) Anyway, that's all I have to say. If anyone wants to contact me off-list, then I shall try and reply as quickly as I can, but until this illness clears up, I shall bid you all "adieu!"
